How long does a scan take?
12 Minutes, a very short amount of time, Results are then printed and looked over, then discussions with the client, so all up an appointment usually takes 20-30 minutes.

This scan is not medicare rebatable.

Is there a changeroom?

Yes, there is a changeroom and toliet facility.

What do I wear?
Nothing Metal, All metal objects need to be removed, such as:
- Keys
- Anything located in your pockets,
- Belt Buckles
- Shoes
- Metal Bra Clips
Clothing without zips, or any kind of metal is 100% preferred.

Is it 100% safe?
Yes, as discussed on the DEXA Tech Link, there is only a very small radiation dose, so it is unharmful

How Often should I get scanned?
Depends on what you want to under go? if you are trying to lose weight? or gain lean mass there is a usually  time of 6-12 weeks, for changes.

What if I'm Pregnant?
If you are pregnant, we don't recommend you have scan at all, a scan will cause harm to the fetus.
​
What is the Age Limit?
Over 18 is preferred, but if under 18 it is required that they'd be accompanied by an adult.
